Learn, Grow, and Lead with Fall Training Programs

Strong public transit depends on skilled, confident professionals at every level of the system. This fall, we are offering three training programs designed to support planners, schedulers, operators, and frontline staff. Whether you want to sharpen your technical expertise or enhance customer service skills, these courses will help you make a lasting impact in your role and in your community.

The Transit Planning for Sustainable Communities Program, running from November 17 to December 10, focuses on the practical application of tools and strategies to design effective, people-centered transit systems. It’s ideal for new planners as well as experienced professionals looking to update their knowledge with innovative, forward-looking approaches.

From November 12 to 26, we will host the redesigned Transit Scheduling and Runcutting course. Delivered virtually with live facilitated instruction, this program is tailored for professionals who work directly in scheduling or are new to the role. Participants will develop a strong foundation in scheduling terminology and processes while learning how to build effective schedules, block trips, cut runs, and create rosters that keep systems operating efficiently.

The Transit Ambassador Customer Service Training program, running from October 20 to 24, equips operators and frontline staff with practical communication strategies, conflict management techniques, and customer service skills that go beyond technical driving. Graduates of this program gain the confidence to handle every interaction with professionalism and care, helping to build trust and strengthen the rider experience.

We will also be highlighting the Transit Ambassador Program at APTA’s TRANSform Conference & EXPO. Visit us at Booth 909 on September 15 to learn how we can support your team’s training needs and prepare your staff for success.
